social value
Buckland Development Ltd believe in building communities that embrace all. We are proud to be associated with initiatives that have responded to a local need and resulted in tangible, positive and sustainable outcomes for local communities.
supporting community
Buckland Development Ltd has been working with local charities who provide homes, new skills and employment for the vulnerable and those in need.
Working with Trinity, Buckland Development team project managed the refurbishment of a listed building in central Winchester to create seven self-contained flats. The house supports people on Winchester City Council’s general housing waiting list as well as low-risk individuals leaving custody and looking to make a new start. Residents are offered support in managing a tenancy and training opportunities to help them back into employment. The project has celebrated its first year with eleven people successfully housed and supported with training, work experience and further education.

skills and employment programme
Accommodation, education, training & employment together form one of the seven resettlement pathways to reducing re-offending amongst ex-offenders.
In addition to our work with Trinity helping to provide accommodation for those in need, we are currently working with the local prison to support a potential training and qualification programme. More details will follow.
